1. Guide rails: Before installation, check that the guide rails are level; both ends must be flush, and they must have undergone a quenching process.

2. Machining: For parts machined by external contractors, any items not machined in accordance with the drawings will be returned, and the contractor will be held liable for a portion of the resulting losses. For parts machined in-house, if they do not conform to the drawings, the person in charge of installation has the right to return them for re-machining. For parts that cannot be re-machined, the party responsible shall compensate for the full cost of materials and labour.

3. Bearings: Imported SKF bearings shall be used exclusively for the rubber pot and pulley assemblies. Take care not to mix them up, and ensure that bearings are installed strictly in accordance with the installation procedure.

4. Conveyor belt motor: Do not strike the motor forcefully during installation! Doing so may damage the components inside the gearbox.

5. Chains: Whether drive chains or conveyor chains, ensure they are neither too tight nor too loose.

Key Maintenance Points for Edge Banding Machines from the Manufacturer

1. Regular maintenance must be carried out on the edge banding machine. The typical maintenance interval is between 17 and 20 days. During maintenance, check for wear on components such as gears, bearings and eccentric bodies, and make the necessary adjustments to all parts of the machine.

2. After the edge banding machine has stopped operating, ensure it is thoroughly cleaned to remove any debris from the production process. At the same time, check that all components are in good condition and that screws and similar fasteners are securely tightened. Keep a record of the cleaning work once it has been completed.

3. Ensure the lubrication system operates correctly by regularly replacing the lubricating oil to lubricate the relevant parts. The lubricating oil selected must be suitable for the machine’s specifications; incorrect use may adversely affect the machine’s operation.
